Your FREE Church Website!
It's OK to be autonomous,
but not invisible. I've heard it said, jokingly, by several of our
congregations, they fell like they are the best kept secret in town!
It doesn't have to be this way. We will change it, starting with a
fully functional website for your local congregation.
Is your congregation
looking for younger members? Well, most of them today don't go to the
Yellow Pages for information anymore. They look on the internet
for a website that will tell them about the company or church they are
seeking, to see if there is reason for them to come in. If you
don't have a web presence, you will miss out on a lot of these people.
Vacationers looking for a place to worship go to the net. People
thinking of moving into the area search the net.
It goes without saying
if you're serious about promoting Christ in your area, you need a web
presence. But there have been problems with that. No one in
your group is internet savvy, and the costs of designing (usually around
$250 up) and hosting (abut $20 month if done locally) is prohibitive.
Understanding this, your problem is solved.
It will cost your
congregation NOTHING to design, upload, or host your new website.
I will formulate it so that Google and the other search engines can find
it, (search engine optimization) so that people searching for you
amongst several billion web pages can find you. And like I said, it
costs you NOTHING! (we are on the same team, and this is something I can
do) So what do you do?
This is how
you make it happen:
Go to the link at the
bottom of this page to begin the tour. Search through the 15 or so
templates I have already set up and choose the one you like the best for
your congregation. Then on the very last page, answer the
questions on the form (it will ask your church name, address, minister's
name, meeting times, etc) Once I have the website you have chosen
and all your information, I will begin to design your customized
website. Depending upon how many are ahead of you, it could take
from 1 week to a month. (it will take about 3 hours to go into
Adobe Photoshop and change the images to rename your website. As
soon as it's done, it will be uploaded and an email will be sent to you
so you can proofread it. After that, it's online for as long as
you want, and it's free the entire time!
